JUANITA LOU TOMLINSON

Juanita Lou Tomlinson was born January 26, 1933 in Okeene, OK to Gerald and Louise (Kramer) Benham and passed away June 5th, 2019 at the age of 86. She was a resident of the Watonga community for most of her life where she helped run The Lighthouse restaurant, worked at Tyler’s department store and was a homemaker. She graduated from Watonga High School. She was married to Cletis L. Tomlinson in January of 1952 and throughout the years that Cletis was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, Juanita enjoyed all of the places they lived and the many friends she made. She was a very loving person and always taking care of somebody. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her three brothers, Bruce, Gerald and Mike, her husband Cletis, a baby daughter and longtime companion Wayne Scott.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Tomlinson of Watonga, two daughters, Cinda Lea of Wheelerville, MO and Janie Gassen of Watonga, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Juanita will be held Thursday, June 13th at 2pm at Roman Nose Lodge in Watonga with Jim Constant officiating.
