BETTY JONES

Betty Jones was born January 16, 1926 at Fay, Oklahoma to Johnnie and Nellie (Preston) Reininger and passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the age of 93.

Betty was a resident of the Watonga area her whole life where she was a homemaker. She graduated from Fay High School and was an active lifetime member of the United Methodist Church in Watonga. She married Leland Jones in Fay, Oklahoma in 1944. Together they enjoyed many social clubs and activities over the years. Her family meant the world to her and she enjoyed spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Leland, one grandson and one granddaughter.

Betty is survived by:

One son……………..Johnnie Jones and wife Nancy of Edmond, Oklahoma

One daughter…….Carol Veirs and husband Bob of Watonga, Oklahoma

Five grandchildren…………Rachelle Fricker, Rob Veirs, Ryan Veirs, Nathan Veirs and Lauren Jones.

Ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Betty Jones will be Monday, September 30, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt Hope Cemetery in Fay, Oklahoma with Pastor Christy Germany officiating. Arrangements by Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga, OK.
