THELMA LEAH (GREENE) MAY KAUTZ
Thelma Leah (Greene) May Kautz was born January 21, 1930 at Watonga, Oklahoma to Ray and Oma (Edsall) Greene and passed away August 23, 2018 at the age of 88.
Thelma was a resident of the Hitchcock- Watonga area most of her life, residing the last nine years in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She attended Bridgeford Elementary and graduated from Watonga High School in 1947. She attended the Methodist Church in Hitchcock and Watonga. Thelma worked as a dental lab assistant for many years, and as a P.T. tech at the Watonga Municipal Hospital for ten years. Thelma loved to golf, play cards and bowled on a mixed league for several years in Watonga.
She married David “Barney” May on July 17, 1948 and from this union came four children. David passed away in 1967. November 1969, Thelma married Ben Kautz. Ben passed away in 1980. Thelma was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael May; one daughter, Peggy Kolodziejski, two brothers; Alvin and Bill Greene; one sister, Vera Davis; and one grandson, David May.

13 grandchildren……………Justin May, Shannon Elwell, Steven May, Michelle Adkins, Steve Flaming, Kenneth Flaming, Kelly Kolodziejski , Jeff Kautz, Julie Moore, Tonya Hesser, Elly Horton, Kendra Cope, Katie Kautz
25 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
A private family burial will be held Monday, August 27, 2018 at 9:30 A.M. at the Cottonwood Cemetery in Hitchcock. A memorial service will follow at the Methodist Church in Watonga at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Tracey Ivy officiating.
