Billy Don Pendergraft, 72, of Watonga, Oklahoma, passed away on August 17, 2026.
Billy Don was born on March 13, 1954, at Lackland Air Force Base outside of San Antonio, Texas, to William "Bill" and Joan (Smith) Pendergraft. He later made Watonga his home and graduated from Watonga High School, where he established lifelong friendships and deep roots within the community.
Billy Don was known for his strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. Throughout his life, he touched the hearts of many through his generosity, friendship, and willingness to help others whenever they were in need.
A hardworking and dedicated man, Billy built a career marked by reliability and perseverance. He worked for Watonga Police Department, Wheeler Bros. Grain and spent more than 14 years with Brady Construction, where he earned the respect and friendship of his coworkers. Billy Don was also a local businessman, proudly owning and operating Sir Burger in Watonga, where he enjoyed serving the community and getting to know the many customers who became friends over the years.
Billy Don was married to Lisa Chase and later to Renee' Holtus. Throughout his life, he valued family, friendship, and the relationships that brought meaning and joy to his days.
Billy Don was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" and Joan Pendergraft; his brother, Mike Pendergraft; and his beloved companion, Linda.
He is survived by his brother, Terry Pendergraft, and his sisters, Janese Allen (Carl) and Janet Blankenship (Terry), all of Watonga, Oklahoma, several nieces and nephews, along with many relatives, friends, and loved ones who will cherish his memory for years to come.
Billy Don's life reflected the values of loyalty, determination, and love. Whether sharing stories, lending a helping hand, or spending time with those he cared about, he made a lasting impact on everyone he met. He brought comfort, laughter, and encouragement to family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers alike. Though his passing leaves a void that can never be filled, his legacy will live on through the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the love he shared. Billy Don Pendergraft will be remembered with love, gratitude, and respect.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
A memorial service, hosted by the family, will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, at 11;00 A.M. at the Nazarene Church in Watonga.



















I was saddened deeply by the news of Billy Don's death. We became very good friends while working together at Wheeler Brothers. He will be forever missed by all who knew him. RIP Billy Don
