Charlotte Mae Winter

Charlotte Mae Winter was born August 4th, 2025.  She entered this world at 4:09 A.M. She spent 13 short hours here on earth with her family. Going home to be with Jesus at 5:04 P.M.

In her short life, Charlotte was lightning in a bottle, always bouncing around and giving any doctor that had the wonderful opportunity to try and look at her lots of trouble. She was very generous to her sister in her last moments of life, donating some of her blood so that Eleanor James would have a better chance to grow and live. After 23 weeks together, they truly have a bond that will remain unbreakable throughout this life and the next.

Charlotte Mae Winter is a beautiful daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin.

She is survived by her twin sister Eleanor James Winter, her parents Alek & Maleah Winter, her Grandparents Tim & Amy Mayfield and Kevin & Jenny Winter, her Aunt Marissa Mayfield and Aunt and Uncle Aaron & Mariah Koehn, many Great-grandparents, Great Aunts and Uncles, and Cousins

She is preceded in death by her Great-Grandpa Curtis Schmidt, Great Grandma Dolores Winter, Great Aunt Kim Brady, Great Uncle Curtis Schmidt Jr., and other loved ones.

We will forever miss her, think of her, and do our best to honor her life moving forward. Forever loved and in our hearts, our Charlotte Mae.

A rosary service will be held Friday, August 8, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Okeene.

The Mass of Christian burial will take place Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Okeene, with Father Damian Okoye officiating. The burial will follow, at Calvary Cemetery in Okeene, with Wilkinson Mortuary handling the arrangements.
