JULIA CAMACHO REYES

Julia Camacho Reyes was born December 26, 1933, at Chalchihuites, Zacatecas Mexico to Timoteo Camacho and Soledad Nava and passed away July 15, 2026, at the age of 92. 

She was a resident of Chalchihuites, Zacatecas for 41 years and a member of the Watonga, Oklahoma community for 51 years where she was a homemaker. 

She was a member of the Parroquia San Pedro Apostol Catholic Church in Chalchihuites, Zacatecas and The Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Calumet, Ok.

She was married to Manuel Reyes at Chalchihuites, Zacatecas on April 9, 1951. 

Julia was preceded in death by her husband, two sons; Alvert Jose Reyes and Saul Reyes and one daughter; Irma Reyes. 

She is survived by two sons; Alfonso Reyes of Chalchihuites, Zacatecas, and Mario Reyes of Watonga, Ok.  Six Daughters; Concepcion Reyes of Watonga, Romelia San Roman of Rogers, Arkansas, Lidia Reyes of Rogers Arkansas, Soledad Castanon of Watonga, OK, Rosa Reyes-Ramirez of Mustang, Ok, and Velinda Vasquez of Dale, Texas. One sister, Juana Camacho of Chalchihuites, Zacatecas, 34 grandchildren, 60 plus great grandchildren and 8 plus great great grandchildren. 

A Rosary service will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Watonga, Oklahoma.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 24, 2026, at 10:30 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Zachary Boazman as Celebrant.  Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga.  Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga in charge of arrangements.  Viewing and visitation will be on Wednesday, July 22 for the public at 12:00 p.m.
