DONNA LOU WHITE

 

Donna Lou White was born on June 11, 1930, in De Queen, Arkansas, to James and Hazel Sigler. She passed away on July 17, 2026, at the age of 96.

 

Donna lived in the Watonga community for 58 years. She was a devoted mother and homemaker, a graduate of Healdton High School, and a longtime member of Watonga Christian Church.

 

She married the love of her life, Charles Ray White, on December 24, 1948, at the First Christian Church of Healdton.

 

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles R. White; her sister, Betty Brandon; and her son, Mike White.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Janet Hoefer and husband John of Durant, Oklahoma, and Marsha Matli and husband Gary of Watonga, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-love, Yvonne “Sissy” White of Mena, Arkansas; and one brother, Gary Sigler and wife Linda of Spring, Texas. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Shane White and wife Shenna, Carina Levins and husband Derek, and Bryan Matli; and five great-grandchildren, Garrett White, Riley White, Will Levins, Josh Levins, and Angelina Gilroy.

 

Funeral services for Donna will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the  Watonga Christian Church. Burial will take place Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga, Oklahoma. Memorial contributions may be made to Watonga Christian Church, Watonga Senior Citizens, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Griffin-Hillcrest Cemetery is located at 1610 C St. SE, Ardmore, OK.
