Darrel Dean Fox

Darrell Dean Fox was born April 11, 1962 in Okeene, Oklahoma to David and Twyla Fox and passed away March 26, 2021 at the age of 58. He was married to Stephanie Fox on March 1, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his mother Twyla Fox, and his grandparents; Sam and Theo Fox and Twyman and Pauline White. He is survived by his wife Stephanie Fox, children; Terri Fox, Terry and Melissa Goodwin and Jared and Braden Kerstein, his father, David Fox, two sisters; Darla Johnson and Deena Bohannon, grandchildren; Clayton and Caydence Goodwin, Elizabeth Davis, and Jaxson Fox.

A celebration of life will be held on April 2, at 2p.m. at Wilkinson Mortuary in Okeene, Oklahoma with Pastor Butch Phillips officiating.

Darrel was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with is family and friends. He took great pride in his work in law enforcement and also worked for many years as an electrician, as well as a cable installer. He was a police officer on the Lahoma Police Department for 18 years and worked with the drug task force as a K-9 officer for several years. He retired as a deputy and transport officer for the Garfield County Sheriff’s Department. In 2019 he became an ordained minister and performed his first wedding ceremony for his close friends.
