Donna Kay (Harmon) Becker

Donna Kay Becker was born August 14, 1945, at Clinton, Oklahoma, and was raised by her adoptive parents, Al and Claire (Brown) Harmon; she passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the age of 78.

Donna was a resident of the Okeene community for most of her life, where she was a receptionist at the Okeene Municipal Hospital, as well as a wonderful homemaker for her family. Growing up, her father was a Baptist minister who was starting churches through the country, so she moved around a lot as a child. She attended school in Stillwater but graduated from Okeene high school. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Okeene and was the pianist there for many years. She was married to Jay Lee Becker, in Okeene, Oklahoma, on February 15, 1975. Donna was active as a Den Mother for the boy scouts, as well as an excellent seamstress.  

Donna is preceded in death by her son, Lance Becker, her parents, Al and Claire Harmon, and one sister, Beryl.

She is survived by her husband, Jay Lee Becker, of the home in Okeene.

One son…………………… Nicholas and wife Emily Becker of Richardson, Texas.

One daughter………….. Robin Weeks and husband David of Wiggins, Mississippi.

Two brothers…………… Bode Blair of Jones, Oklahoma, and Curtis Rowden of Newcastle, Oklahoma.

Five grandchildren…… Beau Lorenz, Serena Sheffield, Susannah Weeks, Hudson and Sullivan Becker, one great grandson...........Soren Sheffield, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.


A Celebration of Life for Donna will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist church in Okeene, with Pastor Gaylon Cox officiating, and Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene handling the arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Children's Home.
