Farrol Ray Boyd was born on October 25, 1942, in Fay, Oklahoma, to Farrol Alexander Boyd and Regina Faye Boyd (Townley). He passed away Wednesday, June 11th, 2025, at the age of 82.
He was a resident of the Watonga community for 63 years, where he began his career as a mechanic and spent the remainder of his profession as Blaine County Commissioner for District 3. He graduated from Fay, Oklahoma high School and was a member of the Watonga Christian Church. He was married to Brenda Boyd (Nordquist) in Eagle City, Oklahoma on February 3rd, 1962.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Farrol and Regina Boyd. Son, Roddy Boyd, Sisters, Corene Kerr and Freda Hausner, brothers-in-law, Jim Hausner, Randall White, and Bob Matli. He is survived by his wife Brenda Boyd of the home in Watonga, son, Marty Boyd (Lori), grandsons, Nathan Boyd (Sheyenne) and Kamden Boyd, granddaughter, Kelsie Limber-Glasco (Olen), great granddaughters, Charlotte and Juliet, sisters, Martha White and Gene Matli, brother-in-law, Larry Kerr, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Farrol will be held Wednesday, June 18th at 10:00 A.M. at the Watonga Christian Church in Watonga, Oklahoma, with Pastor Adam Lovitt officiating.
A private family burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Fay, Oklahoma with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

While there aren't any words that can be said to take away the pain of losing a loved one, we can only hope and pray that you all will find peace in knowing that he is in a far better place and free of all pain and suffering.
