Mae lived for a span of 101 years and about 3 months. She was born to Felix and Lula Gamblin, in Leake County Mississippi on April 7th, 1921, and passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022.

Mae married her first husband, George W. Myrick, and two sons were born of that union, G.W. and David Myrick. After the death of her husband, Mae and her two sons packed up and moved to Oklahoma in 1950. She met and married and man by the name of Ralph Newton. Later, after Ralph’s passing, Mae met Mr. R.H. (Red) Hartfield and they were married.

Mae is survived by her youngest son, David, and wife, Florence. Her stepsons, Kenneth and James, Cleveland, and Earl Hartfield. Grandchildren; Larry, Cornelius, and Sophia. Six great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews back in Mississippi and Wisconsin, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Mae Hartfield will be held Friday, August 5th, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery with Reverend Wilbur Kearney officiating and Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga in charge of arrangements.
