In Memory Wanda Sue Gordon
Wanda Sue Gordon was born July 11, 1968, at Watonga Hospital, to Raymond and Nora Gordon, and passed away March 22, 2024, at the age of 55.
Wanda was a resident of the Watonga community for her entire life. She attended and graduated from Watonga high school, and worked as a cashier, being employed in several different places in town throughout her life.
Wanda was sweet, but salty! She had a big heart, and she loved everyone, including her works kids- they called her “work nana”! Her nieces and nephews always called her Auntie Mamma, and we always called her mom or nana.
She loved her family and friends, the color baby blue, and anything Native American, Kiss, Guns & Roses, Sea Horses, or lighthouses! She loved the smell of lilacs and roses coming through the window in the summer evenings. She had many hobbies, as she was quite crafty; some of those hobbies were Indian seed bead bracelet making, dream catchers, crochet, beaded eggs, and blue jean blankets. Her most recent hobby was metal models.
Wanda was a beautiful person, inside and out, and she loved with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Nora Gordon, and her sisters, Beverly Persinger and Mary Gordon.
She is survived by:
One son………………………….. Roger Gordon, of Watonga, Oklahoma.
