Linda K. Proffitt

Linda K. (Newton) Proffitt was born June 18, 1941, at Breckenridge, Texas to Bob and Mary Newton, and passed away, just shy of her 81st birthday, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at the age of 80. Linda attended and graduated from Breckenridge, Texas. She has been a resident of the Watonga community for the last 6 year, before which she resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma for about 19 years and before that, she lived in Golden, Colorado for 20 years.

Linda was an avid doll and antique glass collector; she had a couple of rooms dedicated to those things in her home. She loved to gamble at the casino, usually spending her time on the slot machines. She was a good mom and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one daughter, Sabrina Thompson.

She is survived by

Two sons…………………………..….. Tony Warner and Lori, of Watonga, Oklahoma; Kert Warner and Margie, of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Three grandchildren…………..…. L.J. Warner, Lindsey Warner, and Katie Warner.

Four great grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Linda will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, Oklahoma with Pastor Zac Brack officiating and Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
