Sheila Rose Brower

Sheila Rose Brower was born April 10, 1957, at Watonga, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Avery and Sara Mae Brower and passed away June 9, 2021, at the age of 64.

Sheila was a resident of the Watonga community for her entire life where she was a part of the kitchen staff at the Watonga Nursing Home, cooking for the residents there for 16 years; as well as working in various other restaurants around town. She attended Watonga High School and graduated in 1975. Sheila was also a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her biological mother; Bobbie Rose Greene and one sister, Roberta Isley.

She is survived by: One son, Alan Brower, of Watonga, OK; Two brothers, Gary Brower, and wife Karon of Guthrie, OK; Bret Brower and wife Pamela of Bedford, Indiana. Her Aunt and Uncle, Mona and Larry Boden; five grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Sheila was very loved and she will be dearly missed by all of the friends and other family members.

A private family Celebration of Life for Sheila Rose Brower was held Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 5:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Watonga Senior Citizen Center or to a charity of one’s

choice.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
