WILLIAM “BILL” JOSEPH FARHAR

William “Bill” Joseph Farhar, age 84 passed away on July 23, 2021 at his home in Okeene, Oklahoma. He was born on September 14, 1936 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Joe and Ilene Farhar.

Bill grew up in Okeene. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and later attended St. Gregory’s Catholic School where he later graduated.

Bill married Deborah Naylor on September 7, 1981. Bill was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending time quail and deer hunting. He also enjoyed spending time at his farm.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Joe and Ilene Farhar.

He is survived by his wife Deborah of the home in Okeene. One daughter, Tanya Farhar Young of Okeene and her children; Robert and Christopher Scarbrough, Taylor Scarbrough and Aaron Beauchamp and their children; Teagan, Brennon and Autumn all of Okeene, Chad and Lisa Butcher and their son Joseph of Fairview, OK, one brother Richard Farhar of Okeene, Deborah’s children; Nathan Naylor and his daughter Phoebe of Louisiana as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends. No services are currently scheduled for Bill. A public viewing and visitation will be held Monday, July 26, noon to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, July 27, 9 to 8p.m. at Wilkinson Mortuary in Okeene, Oklahoma.
