MARILYN KAY COOK

Marilyn Kay Cook was born March 23, 1953 at Watonga, Oklahoma to Martha and Ernest “Bud” Edsall and passed away July 25, 2020 at the age of 67.

She was a resident of the Watonga community most of her life, spending the last 40 years on the family farm. Marilyn graduated from Watonga High School and attended Eastern New Mexico University and was a member of the Watonga First United Methodist Church. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially watching her grandchildren grow. She had the most fun working at the End O’Main where she made lifelong friendships. She loved spending time outdoors where she was able to read and reflect.

She married John David Cook at Watonga, Oklahoma on May 12, 1973.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Bud and Martha and her daughter, Carmea Caye.

Funeral services for Marilyn Kay Cook will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Watonga with Pastor Dianna Matli officiating. The funeral service at the church is for family and church members, the burial open to the public will be held directly after at the East Mt. Pleasant Cemetery east of Watonga, OK. Arrangements by Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga, OK

Social distancing will apply and masks are required at the church.
