Eleanor James Winter

Eleanor James Winter was born August 4th, 2025.  She entered this world at 4:08 A.M. One minute before her sister.  She fought with everything she had for six wonderful days so that we could create memories together that we will cherish forever. On August 10^th, 2025, at 6:21 P.M. she decided that she could not live without her sister any longer. The beautiful bond they formed after 23 weeks together was one that was not meant to be broken.

Eleanor James Winter is a beautiful daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin.

She is survived by her parents Alek & Maleah Winter, Grandparents Tim & Amy Mayfield and Kevin & Jenny Winter, Aunt Marissa Mayfield, Aunt and Uncle Mariah & Aaron Koehn, many Great-Grandparents, Great Aunts and Uncles, and Cousins

She is preceded in death by her twin sister Charlotte Mae Winter, Great-Grandpa Curtis Schmidt, Great Grandma Dolores Winter, Great Aunt Kim Brady, Great Uncle Curtis Schmidt Jr., and other loved ones.

We will forever miss her, think of her, and do our best to honor her life moving forward. Forever loved and in our hearts, our Eleanor James.

The rosary for Eleanor will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Okeene.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Okeene, with Father Damian Okoye officiating, and Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene handling the arrangements.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
