BEVERLY GAYE KETCHUM
Beverly Gaye Ketchum was born on November 30, 1956, in Watonga, OK, to Cecil and Juanita Davis and passed away on August 7, 2025, in Wichita, KS, at the age of 68. Bev attended Watonga schools and lived and worked in Watonga until she moved to Ulysses, KS, in 1990. Bev worked at the Grant County Bank in Ulysses for 29 years and was a Vice President in Human Resources at the time of her retirement in 2021.
Bev enjoyed spending time with friends and family and loved her role as Grammy to her four grandchildren. She was at home in the outdoors, and her backyard was always a sanctuary of plants, flowers, and garden décor. Bev was an avid traveler and enjoyed many trips taking in beautiful scenery and collecting antiques.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Donna. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Danny Ketchum of Goddard, KS; daughter, Ali Marchant and her husband, Mike, of Wichita, KS; son, Chase Ketchum and his wife, Morgan, of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Holden and Matilda Marchant of Wichita, KS, and Owen and Carter Ketchum of Overland Park, KS; brother, Robert Davis and his wife Gloria, of Lubbock, TX, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Watonga Christian Church, 400 N. Noble, Watonga, OK, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Adam Lovitt officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, OK. Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of the arrangements.
