VERNON MONROE SINCLAIR
Vernon Monroe Sinclair was born September 23, 1944, in Fairview, Oklahoma to Arthur and Aletha ( Pemberton) Sinclair, and passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at his home at the age of 81.
Vernon attended and graduated from Watonga Schools and continued his education at Okmulgee Vo Tech. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era until 1969. After his military service, Vernon owned and operated Sinclair Heat and Air successfully until his retirement in 2011.
On May 19, 1973, Vernon married Susan Marie Turner. Through this union Susan brought two daughters: Kelly (Meier) and Kathy (Cooper) into the family. Together, Vernon and Susan welcomed a son, Shannon Sinclair and a daughter, Janice Boeckman.
Vernon was 1 of 8 children born to Arthur and Aletha.
He is survived by his beloved wife; Susan; Children Kelly Meier and husband Mike, Kathy Cooper and husband Mike, Shannon Sinclair and wife Janet and Janice Boeckman and husband Aaron; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Marion, sister Lorene Sauer and brothers in law Bob Sauer and Raymond Harris.
Graveside services for Vernon will be held, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Eagle City Cemetery in Eagle City, Oklahoma to celebrate Vernon’s life and honor his memory.
The family would like to welcome you to come to the Eagle City Church for fellowship after the service.
