BEVERLY ANN FISHER CANNON

Beverly Ann Fisher Cannon was born September 7, 1952, at Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Marvin and LaVaughn Fisher and passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the age of 73. 

She was a resident of the Okeene community for 36 years where she was retired as Postmaster for the United States Postal Service.  Beverly graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1970 and was a member of the Okeene Methodist Church in Okeene, Oklahoma.  On December 4, 1960, Beverly was baptized at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Loyal, Oklahoma.   

Beverly married Robert Allen Cannon at the First Baptist Church in Kingfisher, OK on February 21, 1970. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Cannon, her parents, brothers; Dennis Fisher, Roy Fisher and Ricky Dale Fisher. 

Beverly is survived by her husband, Robert Cannon of the home in Okeene, one son Ricky Cannon and wife Jennifer of Okeene, one sister, Barbara Fisher of Kingfisher, Ok, three grandchildren; Zachary Lozer, Zechiel Lozer, Brookelynn Osmus and husband Clay, nine great grandchildren; Brandon Lozer, Zaiden Lozer, Braden Lozer, Zanden Lozer, Kaley Lozer, Kiley Lozer, Hudson Lozer, Lincoln Osmus and Grant Osmus as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family requests OU or Whippet apparel be worn at her funeral. 

Funeral services for Beverly will be Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Okeene Methodist Church in Okeene, Oklahoma with Pastor Quinton Wray officiating.  Burial will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery in Okeene with Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene in charge of arrangements. 

Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  Donations will need to be mailed directly to the foundation or donate directly to give.cff.org
