In Memory of Connie Sue Richardson

Connie Sue Richardson, passed into the hands of her lord Saturday morning March 16, 2024. She was 63 years of age. Connie was born in Thomas Oklahoma on March 25, 1960. She grew up in Oklahoma where she was the youngest of seven children. She attended Oakwood Schools and graduated from Canton High School in 1978 where she was active in band as the drum major and active in Basketball. She received the John Phillips Sousa award and the Sharp and Nichols outstanding musician award. After graduation she went to work for United States Gypsum Company. She then moved to San Angelo and worked for Producers Livestock and the Cargile Family whom she deeply loved and respected for 29 years retiring in 2022. She married Mike Richardson on July 24, 1990. Connie had two sons who she cherished deeply, Derek Kisich, and Lance Richardson. Connie’s greatest joy was her granddaughter, Alexandra. Connie loved life and her family and friends. Connie had a special side kick Jan Hughes who she texted at the least hourly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sisters Clorus Amen, and Sally Crelly, Brothers Leroy, and Gale Walker.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years Mike Richardson, Son Derek Kisich and Myra of Tuson, Arizona, and Lance Richardson of Ogalla, Nebraska, one brother Clyde Walker of Eagle City, Oklahoma, and one sister Ann Griffith of Davenport, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. May God rest her soul.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Tuesday March 19, 2024, at Harper Funeral Home in San Angelo, Texas. The Funeral Service will be 2:30 P.M., Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Harper Funeral Home.

The Graveside service will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Eagle City Cemetery in Eagle City, Oklahoma, directed by Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga, Oklahoma.   

Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice.
