Jeannie Mae (Ramer) Hall was born on August 24, 1939 to Leonard and Vera (Kern) Ramer near Geary, Oklahoma.  She grew up on their farm northwest of Watonga and went to Watonga Schools.  Jean married Jack Hood on October 4, 1956, and together they had three daughters: Debbie Ruth, Loretta Kay, and Lovetta Evon.  On July 2, 1965, she and Alvin Hall were married and to this union a daughter Tammy Lynn was born. Jean worked at the Blaine County Health Department  for 25 years before retiring in 2001.

Jean’s life was one of joy and love for her family especially around her favorite times of year: Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Thanksgiving at her home was always filled with the comforting scents of turkey and her famous dressing.  Christmas at Granny’s house was always a time of laughter, giving, and gratitude as the family gathered to open the piles of gifts that always adorned her tree.  She also loved working in her yard and quilting.  She would get excited when her beautiful yard was recognized by receiving the “yard of the week.” Each daughter and grandchild has a cherished memory to hold onto with the quilt she made each of them.  Most of all, Jean loved God. Today, she is in heaven, reunited with the Lord.  Her faith was her guiding light and now she rests in His presence.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Hargis of Mooreland, Ok; Loretta Londagin of Watonga, and Tammy Boston and partner Jerry McSperitt of Watonga.  Grandson Shane Hood and wife Janet and their daughters Kylie and Addison of Kingfisher, OK.  Grandson Vernon Londagin and wife Jill and their daughters Breanna and Arianna of Sand Springs, OK.  Granddaughter Courtney Hargis McClure and husband Tyler and their sons Parker and Paxton of Fairview, Texas. Sister Donna Hopkins of Enid, OK.  Brother Jack Ramer and Wife Elodee of Mustang, OK.  Sister Maudie White and husband Curt of Watonga, OK.  Sisters-in-law Doris Ramer of Enid, OK and Carol Ramer of Watonga, OK; and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Jean is also survived by her best friend, Linda Lauminick, whom she had known for over 50 years
