Leigh Ann Wilson Palmer

Leigh Ann Wilson Palmer was born May 1, 1972, at Watonga, Oklahoma, to Edward Wilson and Wilma Diane Cedartree, and passed away June 16, 2025, at the age of 53.

Leigh Ann grew up in Watonga, raised by her beloved great grandma, Mollie Curtis-Whitebird and “Auntie Momma,” LaVada Gould, and graduated from Watonga high school. She was a resident of the Melissa, Texas community from 1990 until her passing, and was a member of Mt. Olive Church of Plano, Texas. She was married to Keith Palmer at the Church of the Living God on February 6, 1993.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Diane Cedartree; Jimmy Palmer, Mollie Curtis-Whitebird, LaVada Howlingwater, Janell Howlingwater, Marie Whiteman, and “Chubby” Charles Whitebird.

She is survived by her husband, Keith D. Palmer of the home in Melissa, Texas.

Graveside services for Leigh Ann will be held on Monday, July 14^th at 10:00 A.M. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, located at 80646 N. 2590 RD. Watonga, OK, 73772, with Pastor Pat Gonzalez officiating and Wilkinson Mortuary, located at 208 N. Noble Avenue, Watonga, OK, 73772, handling the arrangements.
