Leigh Ann Wilson Palmer was born May 1, 1972, at Watonga, Oklahoma, to Edward Wilson and Wilma Diane Cedartree, and passed away June 16, 2025, at the age of 53.
Leigh Ann grew up in Watonga, raised by her beloved great grandma, Mollie Curtis-Whitebird and “Auntie Momma,” LaVada Gould, and graduated from Watonga high school. She was a resident of the Melissa, Texas community from 1990 until her passing, and was a member of Mt. Olive Church of Plano, Texas. She was married to Keith Palmer at the Church of the Living God on February 6, 1993.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Diane Cedartree; Jimmy Palmer, Mollie Curtis-Whitebird, LaVada Howlingwater, Janell Howlingwater, Marie Whiteman, and “Chubby” Charles Whitebird.
She is survived by her husband, Keith D. Palmer of the home in Melissa, Texas.

Graveside services for Leigh Ann will be held on Monday, July 14th at 10:00 A.M. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, located at 80646 N. 2590 RD. Watonga, OK, 73772, with Pastor Pat Gonzalez officiating and Wilkinson Mortuary, located at 208 N. Noble Avenue, Watonga, OK, 73772, handling the arrangements.





















I had no idea Leigh Ann had passed away. We went to Watonga schools together and this girl could leave me in stitches! She was always cracking up at something and had a hilarious sense of humor. I'll never forget her and I going to the bathroom during class and we thought it would be a good idea to start flying toilet paper out of the bathroom window like a kite. After we totally ruined about 4 rolls of toilet paper we hear our names being called to come to the "office". We had no idea Mr. Buddy Glass's principle office window faced the exact way we were flying our "kites"! We didn't get into too much trouble but I…
