Mildred Ellen (Worrell) Richardson

Mildred Ellen Richardson was born November 12, 1931, at Lake Ariel , Pennsylvania, to David and Adelaide Worrell and passed away Wednesday, July 30,2025 at the age of 93.
She was a resident of the Watonga community for 36 years, previously living in Merkel, TX. She worked in retail for most of her life. Mildred was inducted to the United States Airforce in 1951 where she served for four years. Mildred was part of the first female platoon to go overseas; she served in the Korean conflict. She also played basketball for the Airforce during her years of service. She enjoyed spending her spare time playing cards and crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Densy and Blanche.
She is survived by:
One son………………………. James, and wife Amy Richardson of Abilene, TX.
One daughter……………… Charlotte Reding , and husband Bill, of Mcloud, OK.
Seven grandchildren…… Jennifer Tedder, Jamie Ellison, Marcus Richardson, Jonathan Richardson, Victoria Davidson, Christian French, Landry French.
As well as eleven great-grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Mildred will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at Pinkerton/Cedar Point Cemetery in Watonga, Oklahoma with Pastor Adam Lovitt officiating, and Wilkinson Mortuary handling the arrangements.
