Steven Ruff House

Steven Ruff House was born on April 1, 1974, in Watonga, Oklahoma, passing to Our Lord on December 21, 2025, at the age of 51, at the Oklahoma City Heart Hospital.

Steven was known by everyone as Ruff. His middle name came from his great maternal grandmother, Trudy Steger, whose maiden name was Ruff. He worked for his mother and dad, ranching and farming. Ruff loved to play football and won the fightingest eagle award in high school and continued playing for a short period at Northwestern College. He was an extremely talented welder; he had the ability to weld just about anything. He helped his dad build the family barn, welding all the steel they used, as well as welding fencing and corrals. Ruff enjoyed landscaping. He could mow grass and weed -eat all day long!

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Roberta House of Watonga, OK; grandparents, Eddie and Lucille Bohr, of Watonga, OK, and one uncle, Willie Bohr.

He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Ann Bohr-House, Father, Jerry Steven House, of Watonga, Oklahoma. One stepson, Hunter House, and his significant other, Bali, and their daughter, Halstyn, of Watonga, OK; Uncle and Aunt, Mike and Kathy House, of Edmond, Oklahoma; Aunt Teddy Meier of Bixby, OK, as well as numerous other cousins, family, and friends.

A special thank you to the Watonga Mercy ER and the Oklahoma Heart Hospital for all the outstanding care and support they provided, to Wilkinson Mortuary for providing the burial services, and to the family and friends who comforted us.

Viewing will be held Friday, December 26, 2025, from 11am-8pm at Wilkinson Mortuary in Watonga, Oklahoma.

Graveside services for Steven Ruff House will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 27, 2025, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, with Pastor Karl King officiating, and Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga handling the arrangements.
